Boys Recreational Volleyball - We are very excited to offer boys volleyball for the first time! This will be an introduction to volleyball for boys in 4th - 8th grade. The players will focus on learning the foundational building blocks for passing, setting, and hitting. They will learn the key elements of teamwork (communication, attempt pass-set-hit before sending ball over the net, and learn to cheer on teammates regardless of points won or lost during games). Playing time should be relatively equal but could vary due to how quick or slow the rotations happen and participation at practice.
Grades: 4-8
Season Length: Early April - Early June (specific dates coming soon!)
Practices: *Subject to change based on gym & coach availability
Practices will be in the South County High School gym. Practices will be between the time frame of 6-8pm on Fridays.
Please note: We are very understanding and welcoming of multi-sport athletes!
Games: This season will be an introduction to the sport of volleyball. Games will be informal, like scrimmages, during practice.
Uniforms: There will be no required uniforms for the boys this season.
